The Stone Arch bridge (Bridge/Culvert 11) is located on Hill Road near the bend by Kirsch Rd. The Selectboard has been working with FEMA, engineers, stone experts, and interested Brookline residents to evaluate the Town’s options to address the diminished status of the historic structure as a result of flooding in recent years.
All residents are invited to a special meeting of the Selectboard on May 31 at 9 AM regarding the Stone Arch Bridge.
The purpose of the May 31 meeting is to share information gathered by the Selectboard and to facilitate an open discussion with meeting attendees. The Selectboard will share information on the Town’s various options, the benefits and risks of each option, possible funding sources, and implications for the Town. The Selectboard hopes to hear from citizens on what the Town’s priorities should be and which options they are most interested in pursuing.
The meeting will be held on May 31, at 9 AM, at 624 Grassy Brook Road (Suzy’s Daycare Building). Relevant documents are posted below. All Brookline townsfolk are encouraged to attend!
