The Brookline, VT Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding a proposed update of the Brookline Town Plan on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Selectmen’s Room in the Brookline Town Office at 734 Grassy Brook Rd, Brookline, VT.
The Planning Commission solicits public comment on the proposed plan update, as well as comment from the Planning Commissions of abutting municipalities and from the Windham Regional Commission with respect to the compatibility of their respective plans with the proposed Brookline Town Plan.
The proposed Town Plan includes information about the town, its governance, demographic information and information on various topics important to the resident of Brookline. The Plan pertains to all of the Town of Brookline. The Table of Contents includes: Introduction, Community Profile, Economic Development, Housing, Energy, Community Facilities and Services, Natural Resources, Cultural and Scenic Resources, Land Use Planning, Plan Implementation Methods, Comparability with adjacent towns and other Plans, and Appendices.
A copy of the proposed Town Plan and the accompanying Report are available for public review upon request at the Brookline Town Office at 734 Grassy Brook Rd in Brookline during regular business hours or view it online at Proposed Town Plan.
