Local Election Results 2020

Good morning everyone,

                                     After a record breaking turn out, here are the results of yesterday's Justice of the Peace results for Brookline.

* 184  Jean Allbee

* 171  Joseph Dutton

* 179  Dorothy Maggio

* 133  Stanley Noga Jr 

   114  Marsha Omand

    70  Richard Omand

* 171  Gaetano (Guy) M Tanza

   110  Gwendolyn Tanza 

    94  Martha Werman

* Winner

 

Our town has 444 registered voters, 335 voted, which is a 75.45 % turn out.

Of the 335 votes cast , 280 were absentee/early voting ballots which is 83.5 %.

 A special thank you to the Election counters, Shelby Brimmer; Joseph Dutton; Jennifer Frey; David Jones; Dot Maggio; Bruce Mello; Pat and Stan Noga Jr; Gwen Tanza; and last but not least, Marji Wellman. Without you,. I would still be there counting. A special thanks to Stan & Pat for the Snicker Bars and chocolate chip cookies.

 

Finally, thank you, the residents of this special town-Brookline, for your patience and understanding during this incredible, history making time. The fact that so many took the time to vote in this election is remarkable. You are all part of history and I am sure will share many memories.
