Consider the Brookline Meetinghouse on Giving Tuesday
A Message from Peter Meyer, Chairman of the Brookline Meetinghouse Committee,
Dear Friends and Neighbors of the Brookline Meetinghouse,
Giving Tuesday (November 29th) is in its 5th year and it is a movement to create an international day of giving at the beginning of the Christmas and holiday season. The Brookline Meetinghouse had two major repairs completed this summer. All eleven original windows in the main building were restored and the three inch sag in the floor, ceiling and leaning steeple were repaired. During the summer of 2017 we hope to replace the leaky belfry roof and repair the balustrade and pinnacles on top of the steeple. To date, all repairs to the building have been paid for through fundraising, donations and grants.
Please consider a donation to the Brookline Meetinghouse repair fund on Giving Tuesday. I’m afraid we don’t have a fancy website to process credit cards. You have to do it the old fashioned way.
Please make a check out to “Town of Brookline” with “Brookline Meetinghouse Repair Fund” in the memo and mail it to:
