Brookliners – Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Survey

Dear Brookliners: Have you had experience with natural hazards in Brookline?

Speak Up! We need to hear from you. The Town of Brookline is updating its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan. As part of this process, the committee working on the plan needs to hear about what hazards you have experienced and what natural hazards are likely to affect the Town of Brookline in the next 5 years. Residents and Business alike should participate. A short survey is available at https://forms.gle/MgyEY7W1ecZeqysJ8

If you would rather fill out a paper survey, please stop by the Town Office on any Tuesday or Thursday between 9 am and 2 pm or on Saturday October 7th from 9 am to 12 noon.

The survey will be open through Monday October 9th. It will take less than 3 minutes to complete the survey.

For those who want to learn more, please attend our Hazard Mitigation Plan meeting on Wednesday October 11th at 6:30 at Town Hall or join via ZOOM for this Hybrid meeting with residents.

If you have experienced one or more of the following in Brookline – we need your 2 cents… Drought, flooding, strong wind, heavy snow, ice, wildfires, hail, infectious disease outbreaks, landslides, bank erosion, invasive species… the list can go on and on. The information you provide to us will help make our plan stronger than it currently is. Please submit your survey soon!

Thanks in advance for your participation in this survey.
