Brookline Residents

As a part of the development of the 2018 Town Plan, and based on responses received in the recent Town Survey, the Brookline Planning Commission is seeking input from Town residents regarding the development and regulation of commercial energy installations, such as ridgeline wind turbines and non-residential solar “farms.” Although there are no pending projects of this type in Brookline of which we are aware, issues surrounding such developments have arisen in nearby communities and we would like to hear Town opinions on this issue before making recommendations to the Selectboard regarding such development in Brookline. The Planning Commission invites Brookline residents to its next meeting, December 14, 2016, at 7 pm, to offer thoughts on this issue.
